Head of a plushie
I've got the head of the plushie done today. It was a bit tricky, but I was able to do it.
The worst parts were the ears the the middle head piece. The trick was to line them up, baste them, then do the final stitching.
Anyway, tomorrow, I'm going to work on the body. Now that I'm a little more used to sewing darts, this should be a little bit easier.

Throwing my hat into the ring.
I've decided to try and make some extra money making plushies. I've seen how much they've gone for on Ebay and Etsy and thought to myself. "Hey, I can do that'.
So I've got some patterns and got some supplies and now I'm making some plushies.
I use two different patterns. One of them is from Valley Violet. She sells a really nice pattern. The other one is from FuzzyCaterpillar10. This one is simpler but much easier to understand and finish.
I use Ethepony for eyes and cuties marks. I love the look of the embroidered eyes best.
I use Minky from MinkyDelight.com and Fleece from fabric.com. Both are excellent
